The part-time research technician position is within the Laboratory of Bio-inspired immuno-gene therapy of the OSU College of Pharmacy. The position is bench work based. The responsibility includes routine cell culture maintenance, extracellular vesicle collection by using ultracentrifugation, preparation of lipid nanoparticles and basic characterization of nanoparticles, such as size, surface charge, protein concentration by using a BCA kit
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology, biomedical engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of lab experiences required.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with cell culture work; molecular biology technique, including PCR, western blot.
Additional Information:The pay range for this job profile is $15.70/hour - $20.67/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications. This position is paid hourly.
