Job Summary

The Mizuno Lab is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our Orthopaedics research team. The ideal candidate will support ongoing intervertibular disc research projects.

This position involves laboratory research, data collection, analysis, and contributing to the preparation of research publications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in biomedical engineering, cell biology and regenerative medicine.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to operate novel cell process system.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data from research studies, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform literature reviews to support study design and to stay current with advances in the field.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and present findings in written reports and presentations.
  • Prepare research materials, and study protocols.
  • Maintain and organize research records, databases, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other research team members, clinicians, and medical professionals as required.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensure the proper use and upkeep of research tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field (required).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
