Part-Time Laboratory Technician - Sun Lab
Department: Arthritis & Clinical Immuno
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Sun Lab is looking for a part-time Laboratory Technician. Join a research team exploring the mechanisms by immune cell development and function are regulated. Major duties include management of mouse colonies as well as participating in different animal experiments, tissue dissection, and flow cytometry.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of a high school biological science course required.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed experimental protocols.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work with mice.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with lab techniques.
  • Motivation to learn and curious about scientific questions.
  • Highly responsible and with good work ethic.

Work Hours
Three times per week at 3-4 hours each time.
